Availability of products
As we are dependent upon our suppliers to provide certain stock, we cannot guarantee that our products will be available at all times and our stock levels may be subject to change without notice.

If we are unable to deliver products which have been ordered by you for any reason, we will endeavour to notify you via telephone or e-mail as soon as reasonably practicable.

You will then be able to amend, cancel, or place your order on backorder until such time as the products come back into stock.

If a cancellation of this nature occurs after your have paid for the purchase, you will be given the option to be issued with a credit for a future purchase, or receive a full refund to your original method of payment for the cancelled products.

We reserve the right to withdraw or suspend from sale any products displayed on this website, either temporarily or permanently, at any time, with or without notice.

Pricing
Trade pricing applies exclusively to approved trade customers. Once your trade account has been approved, pricing will be visible upon login.

All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD). Each product displays the cost per unit excluding GST, unless otherwise stated. GST will be calculated at checkout.

Prices are as shown at the time of purchase.

Product prices and minimum order values are subject to change without notice.

The cost of products outlined in catalogues and online does not include delivery or shipping charges (freight). Freight is charged on all orders, and is  calculated based on the delivery location, and as a percentage of the order value. Freight will be calculated at checkout. Please see further details under ‘Shipping’, below.

While we will make every effort to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If an incorrect price or incorrect information is listed due to a typographical or system error, we may refuse or cancel any orders placed at that incorrect price. We will not exercise this right unreasonably, and you will always have the option to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel without charge.

We reserve this right up until the time of delivery of products to you. If a cancellation of this nature occurs after you have been charged for the purchase, we will issue a full refund as soon as practicable, to the same method of payment only. If a cancellation of this nature occurs and products have been dispatched to you, the cost to return affected products to us will be paid by Pepperwhites.

Payment
Pepperwhites operates on a pro forma basis. This means all orders must be paid in full prior to dispatch. We are unable to hold or reserve stock unless payment has been received and cleared. If payment is not received within five (5) business days of the order confirmation, the order may be automatically cancelled, and the stock released.

Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

When paying via EFT, our bank account details will be provided on your order confirmation. Please reference your company name or order/invoice number in the transfer description to help us identify your payment. To avoid delays in processing, we recommend emailing your payment confirmation or remittance advice to wholesale@pepperwhites.com.au

If paying by credit card:

  • We do not retain your credit card information for security reasons. You will need to re-enter payment details with each order.
  • If the name on the credit card does not match the name on the order, we may request additional identification (e.g. photo ID or business registration documents) in line with our fraud prevention protocols.
  • If we are unable to verify the identity of the purchaser, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any amounts paid.

Your order will be processed and dispatched only once payment has been received in full and cleared into our account.

  • A payment is considered complete only when the funds are available for use in our account.
  • If your payment fails, is reversed, or cannot be processed, your order may be cancelled. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable if this occurs.

A valid tax invoice will be issued to you at the time of payment, or at the time of delivery. This document will serve as your proof of purchase and may be required for any claims in respect of the products supplied by us.

Order Cancellations and Changes
You may request to cancel or amend an order prior to dispatch. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, but cannot guarantee changes once processing has commenced.

All order changes must be made in writing via email to wholesale@pepperwhites.com.au

If you wish to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Refunds (if applicable) will be provided, less any transaction costs already incurred by us. Refunds will be processed to the same method of payment used only.

Once products have been dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted.

Changes to the delivery address can only be made prior to dispatch. Any changes after dispatch will delay delivery and may incur a handling fee.

Shipping
The cost of products outlined in catalogues and online does not include shipping and handling charges (freight). Freight is charged on all orders, and is charged based on the delivery location, and as a percentage of the order value. Freight will be calculated at checkout.

We send all orders via a reputable carrier to ensure fast and safe delivery. Freight carrier is subject to change without notice.

Delivery instructions must be specified at the time the order is placed. Customers will be notified via email when orders have been dispatched.

Orders will be shipped to the address specified by the customer at the time of ordering. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the address is correct, and to notify Pepperwhites as soon as possible in writing if changes are needed. Changes to the delivery address can only be made prior to dispatch. Any changes after dispatch will delay delivery and may incur a handling fee.

All deliveries to a business address require a signature upon receipt.

In the event that nobody is available to sign for the package, the courier will either leave a notification card, or update the tracking information supplied to you when the order shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to rearrange a suitable delivery day for delivery with the courier directly; for which further charges from Pepperwhites may apply. These charges will be what is passed on to us by the courier only.

Delivery addresses provided are considered to be business addresses unless otherwise advised.

Delivery to residential addresses
For trade orders, we are able to accomodate delivery to residential addresses. Deliveries to residential addresses must be sent with 'Authority To Leave' if no-one is home to receive the order. Once the courier has delivered the goods, we will have no further responsibility for their loss or damage hereafter.

For all deliveries detailed above it is the responsibility of the customer to check that all cartons are accounted for before signing for the delivery. A signed "Proof of Delivery" (POD) will be used to determine the delivery of an order.  Risk in products passes to you upon delivery, as evidenced by signed proof of delivery. Pepperwhites does not accept responsibility for goods that are misplaced after they have been delivered and signed for, including ATL residential deliveries.

If you wish to use your own courier please contact us when placing your order so that we can discuss collection arrangements. Once your nominated courier has picked the order up, we will have no further responsibility for their loss or damage whilst in transit.

Pepperwhites does not offer C.O.D.

Dispatch
We aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible after receipt of payment, subject to the availability of products ordered. Please note dispatch times may vary during busy/peak periods.

Delivery Times
You are welcome to contact us for an estimate of delivery times before placing your order. We will endeavour to give an accurate estimate of delivery times wherever possible.

Please note that Pepperwhites will make every effort to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, however we can't guarantee the nominated freight company will deliver as per the original delivery estimate.

Please understand that as we use a third party for deliveries, we are unable to guarantee an exact delivery date. We are unable to request the courier to call before delivery.

Once orders leave our premises, circumstances may arise which are outside of out control. Please call us if you have not received your order within seven (7) working days of receiving notification of dispatch of your order, or if you have any concerns at all.

Product Colour and Variation
Many Pepperwhites products are handmade using traditional techniques such as carving, printing, and dyeing. As a result, slight variations in finish, size, colour, and texture may occur. Variations are not considered faults; rather, they contribute to the authenticity, and unique beauty of each product.

All of our textiles are hand printed or dyed. We work closely with our artisans to match colours as closely as possible. However, because of this handmade process there may be slight variations in colour or design between products, and from batch to batch.

Where products are made from natural materials (e.g. marble, stone, or wood), they should be expected to feature their own unique characteristics including - but not limited to - variations in colour, grain, texture; and veins and markings. These are not considered faults. Products made from natural materials may evolve over time as they age, further enhancing their distinct character.

The items you receive are one of a kind, and may be different to those pictured.
Every effort has been taken to represent products as accurately as possible.
The colouring you see may vary depending on your screen. Pepperwhites cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour is true and accurate.

Claims and Returns
We do not exchange, refund or credit for incorrect choice, or change of mind.

If a product is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery (or within 24 hours for shipping-related damage) and provide reasonable evidence (e.g. photographs). Where a valid claim is made, we will, at our discretion:

(i.) replace the product;
(ii.) repair the product; or
(iii.) issue a credit or refund for the product.

Sale items cannot be returned.

Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which may entitle you to a repair, replacement, or refund if products fail to meet statutory guarantees.

Claims, returns, or damages should be directed to: wholesale@pepperwhites.com.au

Termination of Access
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to this website where reasonably necessary, including for breach of these Terms, unlawful or unauthorised use, non-payment, or where we discontinue our wholesale program. Where possible, we will provide reasonable prior notice.

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations if the delay or failure arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control.

2. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the website, or the supply or non-supply of products, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, equity, or otherwise, is limited at our discretion to one of the following:

(i) replacing the products or supplying equivalent products;

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws which cannot be excluded.

3. Exclusion of Other Warranties
We shall not be liable for any guarantee, warranty, or representation as to the quality, performance, or fitness for purpose of any products supplied through our website unless expressly provided in writing and signed on our behalf.

You acknowledge that, other than statutory terms required by law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or warranties expressly provided in writing by us, all other terms, conditions, warranties, indemnities, or statements (express or implied, written or oral) are excluded.

4. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and keep us indemnified against any loss, liability, cost, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees on a solicitor–client basis) arising directly from:

(i.) your breach of these Terms;

(iii.) any claim by a third party arising from your use of the products, services, or Pepperwhites IP in a manner not authorised by these Terms or by us in writing.
(iv.) unauthorised use of your account, login, or systems.

This indemnity does not apply to the extent the loss arises from our own negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct, or to any rights or remedies you cannot lawfully waive under Australian law.
